CertainTeed Fiber Cement Siding

If you have experienced cracking, warping, shrinking or other CertainTeed siding problems, you may have an opportunity for legal recourse against the manufacturer. Several property owners have already filed a class action lawsuit against CertainTeed Corp. alleging that the company sold defective siding and failed to uphold the terms of its product warranties. The plaintiffs in the CertainTeed lawsuit claim that the defects led to a number of fiber cement siding problems, including shrinking, warping and cracking of the siding, as well as the development of large gaps between the siding boards. Two of the plaintiffs also allege that CertainTeed failed to honor its warranty when they submitted a claim for their house’s defective fiber cement siding.
