Press Release provided by Cara Ann Ceraso on August 31, 2016
LawyerCentral.com, August 31, 2016 — MASSACHUSETTS — Attorney Cara Ann Ceraso, formerly of Greenwich, Connecticut, is now a Nantucket resident and local attorney. Cara recently launched her own law practice on island, Anchored Law, LLC, which offers services in the areas of mediation, litigation, business law, contract law, family law, trusts and estates, real estate, guardianships and conservatorships. The firm's mission is to help clients achieve their goals in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
Cara is excited to bring her 12 years of experience as a commercial litigator to Nantucket, her favorite place, to help Nantucket residents resolve their legal disputes. Cara has represented individual and corporate clients in all stages of litigation, mediation, and arbitration throughout her career in matters involving business disputes, complex commercial contracts, real estate, land use and zoning, construction law, mechanic’s lien foreclosures, insurance coverage, employment disputes, intellectual property, social media, trusts and estates, conservatorships and guardianships.
Recognizing that litigation is not for everyone, Cara completed her mediation training with MWI in Boston to offer a suitable alternative to litigation for parties seeking a more relaxed forum to resolve disputes.
Cara’s practice also includes drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and settlement agreements, and advising businesses on risk avoidance and best practices.
Cara is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, and New York. She earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2004. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 2001, where she completed a double major in English and Political Science in just three years.
In 2013, Cara was honored with a 40 Under 40 Award from the Fairfield County Business Council. She has also been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2013-2016, and she has received the highest peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell (AV Preeminent). Cara currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Nantucket.
