Reed transferred to Wingate University near Charlotte, North Carolina, where he played football until graduation when he received a B.S. in business administration and finance. Reed put his degrees to work as a bank officer, a loan officer, a Secretary for the Loan Committee, and an assistant branch manager at Farmers & Merchants Bank in Tallahassee before he went to law school at the University of Florida. While in law school Reed clerked with two law firms that shaped and helped him decide which areas of the law he ultimately wanted to practice. Reed attended the University of Florida because of his family’s history with the school. Reed’s father was the captain of the University of Florida baseball team and his mother also attended the University of Florida. After law school, Reed joined Ringer, Henry, Buckley & Seacord, then, Dean Mead. Dean Mead shaped Reed’s career and exposed him to 12 years of business litigation, personal injury litigation, and trust and estate litigation.
Reed left Morgan & Morgan in 2017 and founded Bloodworth Law, PLLC.
Reed is a huge Florida Gator football fan and an Orlando City Soccer supporter. Reed enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors.Reed is a Florida native and was born in Tallahassee. He grew up in Apalachicola, Florida, until graduating high school.
