Hello,

My boyfriend is being investigated for fraud. He brought a computer a while back and it had started to go a bit funny so he asked his manager  at work (he works in retail) if he could return it send that off to be repaired and get a new one. He informed his manager that it was out of the one year warrenty and they said this was fine.

However he did not produce proof of purchase when he returned the computer and since doing so has found out that he actually brought it from a completely different store. They are now investigating him for fraud. As it was a genuine mistake what can he do?

It is your fault that you have not taken the bill of computer at a time of purchase. I think your boyfriend had to ask to manager before purchasing computer from the shop. A lawyer shall be able to guide you in a better way about your problem.
