- Moving vs Non-Moving Violations
The difference between moving and non-moving violations is intuitive. A moving violation refers to traffic violations made by a vehicle in motion, for example, speeding, failure to stop, failure to yield, and drunk driving, to name a few. Non-moving violations refer to parking or equipment violations, for example, parking in a no-parking zone, parking in front of an expired meter, and defective muffler/horn/breaks.
