PERSONAL INJURY I most recently worked for a major insurance company and now I would be pleased to work for you in handling your personal injury claim. For almost nine years I was employed by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in its Trial Division office in Wheeling, West Virginia. My job there was to defend Nationwide’s policyholders in automobile accidents, slip and falls, homeowner’s claims, and general commercial liability matters. Before working for Nationwide, I worked at several major insurance defense firms. I have worked cases through trial in the northern panhandle and up and down the I-79 corridor. I know how the insurance company will evaluate your case. I know the tactics and strategies they will attempt to use to reduce the amount they will pay on your claim or case. I know well many of the medical or liability experts they will use to defend against your case. Let me put my knowledge and experience to work for you. • AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS • DUI ACCIDENTS • ATV ACCIDENTS • PREMISES LIABILITY/SLIP & FALLS • DOG BITES • PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS • PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENTS • MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS • WRONGFUL DEATH • CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENTS • WORKPLACE INJURIES • CONSTRUCTION DEFECTS • INSURANCE DISPUTES DOMESTIC RELATIONS As a single mom, I know the turmoil that comes with separation and divorce, shared parenting, and other domestic concerns. I have been through all the same emotions you are feeling – anger, sadness, frustration, financial worry. I know that it is sometimes hard to keep focus and to feel like you are moving toward a more positive situation. I know there are only a limited number of attorneys in town who will take a family court case. Come and see me and we can start working toward your new tomorrow. • Divorce • Property Division • Shared Parenting • Custody/Visitation • Domestic Violence Protection Orders CRIMINAL DEFENSE Sometimes being in the wrong place at the wrong time can get you in trouble. Sometimes bad luck seems to strike all at once and you find yourself with a DUI, misdemeanor charge, or other criminal law issue. These types of charges can affect your ability to get to work or to keep a job. Maybe you can represent yourself, but don’t you have a lot to lose? Don’t chance it. You need representation and I would be pleased to help get you back on the right track. • DUI • Misdemeanors • Drug related charges GENERAL PRACTICE I am also able to help you with general legal matters, including preparation of wills and deeds, review of Marcellus Shale gas leases, real estate matters, and the like.
