Workers' Compensation Attorney Mark L. Newman Named 2011 Ohio Super Lawyer

LawyerCentral.com, March 15, 2011 - OHIO - Mark L. Newman, a partner with the law firm Barron Peck Bennie & Schlemmer has been selected a 2011 Ohio Super Lawyer. The Ohio Super Lawyer selection process includes peer nomination and independent research of candidates. Only five percent of attorneys in Ohio are chosen each year. 

As a practicing attorney for over 20 years, Newman has extensive experience representing injured workers and disabled individuals.  He is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association, as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist, past chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section, and a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.  He was also named an Ohio Super Lawyer in 2006.  

Mr. Newman is also a leader in the Cincinnati Community.  Over the past decade he has served on several committees at the Jewish Community Center.  He is currently on the Board of the Sycamore Athletic Club, a youth basketball organization serving 500 boys and girls in the Sycamore School District.  He also coaches many youth sports teams including basketball, baseball, and soccer.
