Waukee Community Schools Foundation Raises $83,000.00 for Waukee School District

LawyerCentral.com, April 18, 2017 — IOWA — The Waukee Community Schools Foundation's 20th Annual Dinner & Gala Auction raised $83,000.00 for the Waukee School District.  This money benefits both teachers and students.  "It was our second-largest fundraiser in the last twenty years" said West Des Moines Attorney Ward "Sam" Rouse, who sits on the Board.  "Funds raised fromt his event go a long way in ehlping the district meet the demands of such a growing and dynamic district."

The Waukee Community Schools Foundation has awarded over $725,000.00 to date to graduates in the form of scholarships, grants to teachers and staff for professional development and continuing education, and classroom grants for items and technology not supported by district funds.
