In April 2005, General Motors recalled more than 2 million vehicles to fix several potential safety defects. The recall includes almost 1.5 million full-size pickup trucks and SUVs with second-row seat belts that may be hard to correctly position across the passengers’ hip.
The recall includes the 2003-2005 models of the Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, Hummer H2 and Cadillac Escalade.
