We are about to move in to a new office where we have effectively signed a lease for 10 years. We'll be paying quarterly rent, it comes with a 5 year break clause.
1. Are we liable to pay SDLT on the rent?
2. If yes, do we have to calculate SDLT on (Rent + VAT) or only the Rent (before VAT)
3. Are you able to guide us to the HMRC website link that states this very clearly if possible.
