St. Hilaire served as the former chief prosecutor and senior law enforcement official in northwestern New Hampshire, having been elected four consecutive terms as Grafton County Attorney. He retired in October 2009 after fifteen years as a prosecuting attorney. St. Hilaire was honored last fall by Governor John Lynch, the New Hampshire State Senate, and the New Hampshire House of Representatives for his many successful accomplishments in the criminal justice system.
