WII CONTEST DEATH VERDICT

SAN FRANCISCO - THE family of a woman who died while taking part in a radio station water-drinking contest to win a Nintendo Wii was awarded more than US$16.5 million (S$23 million) by a jury in California on Thursday. A 12-person jury in Sacramento reached the verdict after deliberating for nearly two weeks. The trial began in early September.
