Mr. Gersh has been in private practice since 1978. Prior to that, he was a trial attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he investigated and prosecuted federal securities fraud cases throughout the country. He is licensed in the Kentucky, U.S. District Courts of Western & Eastern Kentucky, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court. His practice focuses on estate planning, wills and trusts, elder law, estate administration and probate, and securities arbitration. Mr. Gersh, a member and former board member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, has served as the president of the International Association for Financial Planning and has hosted a radio call-in show about estate planning titled, "You Can't Take It With You". Wes has recently co-authored a book entitled Guiding Those Left Behind In Kentucky, a primer on how to settle an estate in Kentucky.

Wesley Gersh is the founder of Gersh Law Offices, P.S.C., a law firm with it's primary office in Louisville, Kentucky. Estate planning and administration forms the major portion of his practice. Mr. Gersh currently represents many individuals and businesses, as well as accountants, insurance agents, stockbrokers, financial planners and their clients in both Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

Mr. Gersh's emphasis is on providing peace of mind and family protection to clients in a prompt and consistent manner, at reasonable prices and with integrity.
