Wayne B. Ball

Biographical Information

WAYNE B. BALL graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Labor. He received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he was Comments Editor of the Arkansas Law Review and received the American Judicature Award. Following law school, he went on to earn his LL.M in Taxation at Southern Methodist University.

Mr. Ball devotes a substantial portion of his practice to wealth preservation through estate planning, asset protection, business succession planning, elder law, Medicaid planning and related matters.

During his career, Mr. Ball served in the United States Air Force. And, while in Northwest Arkansas, he was elected to serve as Municipal Judge of West Fork and served on the City Board of Adjustments in Fayetteville. Currently, he is admitted to practice in Arkansas and Texas.

Wayne B. Ball is also admitted to practice in the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Tax Court. Other memberships include the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, and Rotary International. He is a graduate of the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute.

Wayne B. Ball is an experienced legal writer having co-authored A Practical Guide to Estate Administration in Arkansas, Basic Probate in Arkansas and Guiding Those Left Behind in Arkansas. Accordingly, he is a frequent speaker on estate planning and other topics.

Wayne Ball has been recognized as one of the Mid-South Super Lawyers for 2009-2010 and acknowledged by Worth magazine as one of the nation's top 100 attorneys for 2008-2010.

Mr. Ball is the parent of two children and one grandchild and is active in his community having served on the Board of Directors for March of Dimes and the Great Tomato War. He is an award-winning photographer and enjoys international travel, fly fishing and boxing. Mr. Ball won a unanimous decision in his first U.S. Amateur Boxing Association Master's Division boxing bout.
