VIDEO STORE SETTLEMENT AIMS TO CORRECT BAD CREDIT REPORTS

A national settlement this week in a Virginia bankruptcy court involving the defunct movie rental company Movie Gallery/Hollywood Video hopes to rescue the credit history of up to 46,700 Wisconsin consumers among many thousands of others caught in an intrusive, aggressive, and, it turns out, unfair debt collection policy.
