U.S. ATTORNEY SET TO BECOME STATES NEWEST SUPREME COURT JUSTICE

ATLANTA (AP) -- U.S. Attorney David Nahmias is set to be sworn in as the newest Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Nahmias' swearing-in is scheduled for Thursday at 2 p.m. Gov. Sonny Perdue tapped Atlanta's top federal prosecutor for the job last month.
