Thomas C. Ruff, Jr. obtained both his Bachelor of Arts in 1970 and his Juris Doctor in 1974 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He began his career in Asheville, North Carolina in 1974 then moved to Charlotte in 1978. He has been practicing law in Charlotte for the last 33 years.
