Biographical InformationTemi comes from a litigation background. As a participant in the Criminal Justice Clinic at Georgetown, she represented defendants in the District of Columbia Superior Court and residents of DC Jail and Correctional Treatment Facility in post-conviction matters. While clerking with the litigation group in the Office of General Counsel at the Library of Congress, in 2008, she refined her legal analysis skills working on a variety of projects. She drafted legal opinions, researched and wrote memoranda of law and investigated Title VII, ADEA, and ADA discrimination complaints. Temi has also clerked with DC Law Students in Court. Most of her time was spent in the District’s Landlord Tenant Court. In Court, she filed motions, wrote answers, prepared the client for speaking before the judge, negotiated with other attorneys and explained various court documents to clients advising them of their legal rights and options. A native of Chicago, IL, Temi currently resides in Washington, D.C. |
