TJX AGREES TO $9.7 MILLION SETTLEMENT OVER BREACH

July 27 (Bloomberg) -- TJX Cos. , owner of the T.J. Maxx and Marshalls discount clothing chains, agreed to pay $9.7 million in a settlement with 41 states over a computer breach that left millions of consumers vulnerable to identity theft, Pennsylvania’s attorney general said.
