Susan D Pontoriero

Biographical Information

Susan D. Pontoriero, Esq. is a graduate of Seton Hall School of Law, Newark, New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers College, cum laude, obtaining both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree.
Ms. Pontoriero was admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey in 2000 and was also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining The Pontoriero Law Firm, Ms. Pontoriero worked as an associate at the law firm of Lite DePalma Greenberg & Rivas, LLC, concentrating in complex commercial litigation involving securities fraud class actions and derivative actions, and was the primary associate responsible for the majority of the firm's securities cases, including those in which the firm served in lead counsel positions. In addition, Ms. Pontoriero served and assisted in drafting the annotations of the New Jersey Federal Practice rules from 1998 through 2007.
Now, as a partner with The Pontoriero Law Firm, Ms. Pontoriero is intimately involved with the firm's family law actions in addition to many other types of civil litigation, including corporate law and municipal court practice.
Ms. Pontoriero is a former member of the John C. Lifland American Inn of the Court. She is also currently an active member of the Ocean County Business Association and Ocean County Bar Association.
