SUPREME COURT RESTORES CONVICTION OF MAN WHO ABUSED HIS STEPDAUGHTER

OTTAWA - The Supreme Court of Canada has restored the conviction of a Nova Scotia man who sexually abused his stepdaughter for years. The high court ruled in a unanimous, 7-0 decision that the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal was wrong when it ordered a new trial for the man, identified only as J.H.S.
