STATE WINS $19.5 MILLION SETTLEMENT FROM SHELL OIL

The state was awarded $19.5 million in a settlement with Shell Oil Company after hundreds of environmental violations were found at Shell gas stations around the state, including one in Agoura Hills, according to Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr. The Attorney General’s office began an investigation of the company in 2006 after numerous violations were found in the company’s underground fuel ...
