Sanofi-aventis announced today a civil settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice to resolve "Average Wholesale Price" (AWP) lawsuits under the federal False Claims Act relating to Anzemet(R) involving one of its predecessor companies, Aventis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (API).
