Robert F Craig

Biographical Information

For 30 years, Bob has focused his practice in two primary areas: corporate and individual insolvency matters and, domestic and offshore insurance insolvencies. He specializes in Chapter 11 cases and litigation, representing debtors and parties to adversary proceedings.

For 20 years Bob has also been engaged internationally on insurance insolvency issues, including service as Liquidator for domestic and offshore insurers and reinsurers. Bob was the lead architect for a national undertaking to overhaul the statutory framework for the administration of insolvent insurers' estates. This overhaul resulted in statutes which mirror the Bankruptcy Code, and in the adoption of the Insurer Receivership Model Act by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
