Biographical Information

Rebecca Levy-Sachs has practiced in the area of first-party coverage and litigation for more than thirty years. More recently focusing on commercial time element and law and ordinance disputes, she has handled coverage disputes involving a variety of perils, including windstorm, mold, sinkholes, asbestos, builders risk and associated financial losses, boiler and machinery and elevator losses, environmental cleanup, fire, and collapse. She has been certified as a Windstorm Umpire by the Windstorm Insurance Network.

Ms. Levy-Sachs is a regularly recognized lecturer and author at programs presented by the FDCC, the PLRB, the DRI, the LEA, Windstorm, and the ABA (PILC) on property coverage, business interruption, law & ordinance and green buildings, litigation management, Daubert, expert preclusion, spoliation, and e-discovery issues. In 2010, she presented West-sponsored CLE courses on Daubert expert issues to law firms in New York and New Jersey.
