Nicholas Fairweather

Biographical Information

Nick has represented individuals, labor unions and small businesses before the state and federal courts of Wisconsin and administrative agencies throughout the state. He has successfully argued business, employment and licensing disputes on behalf of his clients. Nick practices in the areas of employment discrimination, contracts, professional licensure, and credit and collection disputes. Recently, he prevailed on behalf of a physician in a disability discrimination complaint before the Equal Rights Division of the State of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. In September, 2009, he obtained a substantial judgment against a New York debt collector who had abused and harassed his clients for a debt they did not owe.

Nick currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the State Bar's General Practice Section. He volunteers his time with the Dane County Bar Association's Small Claims Assistance Program and the Wisconsin Lawyers Assistance Program. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Tenant Resource Center since January 2009.

Nick focuses his practice in labor, employment and consumer litigation.
