NEW KANSAS SUPREME COURT JUSTICE TO BE SWORN IN FRIDAY

January 4, 2011

The Kansas Supreme Court will meet in special session Friday to swear in Nancy Moritz Caplinger. Gov. Mark Parkinson appointed Caplinger to fill a vacancy on the court created by the Aug. 4 death of Chief Justice Robert Davis. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. in the courtroom.
