MUMS THE WORD ON SETTLEMENT

The Dare County Tourism Board paid its former director, Carolyn McCormick, $112,000 upon leaving, but the settlement documents laying out the conditions of the payment also includes a clause which attempts to prohibit the board members from talking about the negotiations or the reason for the settlement.
