Michael Shepard began his legal career working on behalf of persons injured by exposure to asbestos, working for a multi-state law firm representing asbestos victims in over a dozen states.  In January of 1998, Attorney Shepard started his own firm to concentrate on representing victims in cases involving asbestos exposure, medical drug and device defects, products liability, transportation defects and injuries, nursing home abuse and neglect, and other serious injury cases.  He has represented victims in many states from Maine to California, in both state and federal courts.  He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive group of trial lawyers around the country who have obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients.  He is an active alumnus of Providence College, and serves as a member of the school’s Boston President’s Council.  Attorney Shepard also participates in many local charities and civic activities.  He lives in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
