Matt was born in Colorado, raised in Oklahoma, and has been a proud Mississippi resident for over ten years. After graduating with honors from Mississippi State University in 2004 with his Bachelor of Business Administration, Matt went on to obtain his Doctor of Jurisprudence "J.D." at Mississippi College School of Law in May of 2007. Matt has worked in several areas of law including Personal Injury, Mass Torts, Estate Planning, Small Business Law, Church Law and criminal defense in both state and federal court. Before founding Baldridge Law Firm in 2011, Matt worked for the Edward A. Williamson Law Firm and John M. Colette & Associates.

Matt enjoys being involved in the community and volunteers annually to serve as a judge for the various mock trial and moot court competitions. He has been the drummer for his church band since 2007.
