Maryam Lisa Odom

Biographical Information

Prior to founding the Valencia, California-based law firm of McDowell Odom LLP, Ms. Odom joined the Los Angeles office of the prestigious international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in its Restructuring Group. While there, she worked on several major Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. In 2007, Ms. Odom joined the international law firm of Sidley Austin LLP in its Real Estate and Finance group. At Sidley, Ms. Odom represented numerous financial institutions in all aspects of major commercial real estate transactions. In 2010, she co-founded McDowell Odom LLP where her practice focuses on real estate acquisitions and finance, leasing matters, corporate and business representation, estate planning and trust administration. Ms. Odom's clients range from individuals to corporations and everything in between.
