Martina Anne Vigil

Biographical Information

Martina Vigil is an Orange County criminal defense attorney who received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law in Orange County.

In law school, Ms. Vigil was among few students who gained actual courtroom experience by clerking at the Orange County Gang Unit and assisting and representing the government in multiple prosecutions including Murder, Attempted Murder, 2nd Degree Robbery, and Firearm crimes. Although Ms. Vigil greatly values the education and practical experience she received from working at the Orange County District Attorney's Office, her real passion is defending the rights of those accused of a crime. For seven years, Ms. Vigil clerked at the DeSales Law Building for renowned Orange County criminal defense attorneys Jacqueline Goodman, John Donovan, and Christopher Strobel. As a founding member of the North Orange County Bar Association and a clerk at the DeSales Law Building, Ms. Vigil was fortunate enough to immerse herself within the Orange County criminal defense sector and developed important relationships with several attorneys, clerks, bailiffs, and judges. Ms. Vigil believes that to be successful in the defense of her clients, experience in both the prosecution and defense side is essential.
