Mark S King

Biographical Information

Mark is a North Carolina licensed and United States Patent & Trademark Office registered attorney practicing in southeastern North Carolina. Immediately following law school, Mark practiced for two years with an established Wilmington, NC law firm providing client services in the areas of intellectual property, business/corporate law, estate planning/administration, and real property law. In September 2009, Mark decided to continue his career as solo practitioner and successfully launched The Law Offices of Mark S. King, P.C.

In 2002 Mark received a BA in History, BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Duke University before enrolling in Campbell University School of Law in 2004. In September 2006 Mark successfully passed the United States Patent & Trademark Office Registration Exam and became a USPTO registered patent agent. In May 2007 Mark earned a juris doctor from Campbell and successfully passed the North Carolina State Bar Exam two months later in July. Following receipt of his juris doctor, Mark later qualified as a USPTO registered patent attorney in October 2007.

A native of Wilmington, Mark is an enthusiast of the area beaches, historical significance, and unique geography of the lower Cape Fear region. In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing basketball, biking, live music, and relaxing with friends.
