MALACAÑANG APPOINTS DEL CASTILLO JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT

Court of Appeals (CA) Associate Justice Mariano C. del Castillo has been appointed justice of the Supreme Court by President Arroyo. Del Castillo took his oath of office Thursday before Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno. He replaced Justice Ma. Alicia Austria Martinez who retired last April 30.Related Supreme Court Stories:
