Biographical Information

Born and raised in Sylva, North Carolina, Lucas T. "Luke" Baker is a native North Carolinian from the western part of the state. Luke grew up with the mountains as his back yard and spent a great deal of time outdoors as a child and young adult, particularly through his experience in Boy Scouts of America Troop 914 in Cullowhee, North Carolina. That experience led to Luke's attaining the rank and honor of Eagle Scout in 1993. Luke still enjoys returning to the mountains frequently for visits.
