JURY SUGGESTS LIFE IN PRISON FOR MORGAN COUNTY MAN

The jury that convicted a man of kidnapping and killing his ex-girlfriend has recommended a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. Robin Mapel was found guilty of kidnapping and shooting Melissa Patrick in November of 2008 in Morgan County after Mapel escaped from the Montgomery County Jail.
