Biographical Information

I attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management.

I earned my Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California.

I also have a Masters of Law in Military Law from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Military Service:
I served as an Infantry Officer with 5th Marines and Weapons Field Training Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California between 1985 and 1989. I was selected for the Funded Law Education Program and attended law school between 1989 and 1992.

After being certified as a Judge Advocate, I was a trial counsel and defense counsel for four years with the Legal Services Support Section, 1st FSSG at Camp Pendleton, California.

After obtaining my Masters of Law, I was assigned as the Senior Defense Counsel with the Legal Services Support Section, 2nd FSSG at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for two years and the Regional Defense Counsel for the East Coast for two years.

My last tour of duty was as a Military Judge assigned to Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

I retired as a lieutenant colonel after 22 years of service.
