Janet Ann Briseno

Biographical Information

I was born in Wichita, Kansas. I grew up, however, in Chandler, Arizona, where I attended high school. I went to Grand Canyon University where I received a B.S. in Business Administration/Education, with minors in English and Office Administration in 1974. After college, I worked in the legal profression in various positions, including personnel director for a major law firm in Phoenix, Arizona, nationally certified paralegal, and legal secretary. In 1995 I entered law school at the University of Idaho and graduated in 1998. I was in law review as Executive Editor and was published my first year in law review. After graduating, I successfully passed the Idaho State Bar exam. My first lawyer position was with Glen Walker's law firm in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I practiced in the area of family law. In May 2000, I opened my own private practice. I practice in the area of family law doing divorce work, high conflict child custody cases, custody modifications, child support cases, adoptions and guardianships.
