James Victor Doyle

Biographical Information

Mr. Doyle was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Baton Rouge High School. He was a member of the cross country and wrestling teams in school and enjoyed all outdoor activities in Southern Louisiana, including the best fishing in the world!

He then chose to attend Auburn University, earning a degree in Civil Engineering. While in college, Mr. Doyle was active in campus activities, including student government, the campus radio station (WEGL-FM), as well as several academic and service organizations. During his senior year, he was selected as a member of the Spade Honor Society.

After graduation, Mr. Doyle attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge to study Business. He was again active in campus activities, including the MBA Association. In 1997, he earned an MBA degree with a concentration in Marketing and Advertising. While in school, he worked at Louisiana State Natural Resources in the State Lands Division. In addition, he donated much of his time to Louisiana Public Broadcasting in several capacities.

After LSU, Mr. Doyle chose to study law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and earned a juris doctorate degree in 2000. While in school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, Trial Advocacy Board, National Moot Court Team, National Trial Advocacy Team, and even served two years on the Honor Court. In his third year, he was elected as the Chief Justice of the Honor Court.

Following law school, Mr. Doyle worked for the Governor of Alabama as a Deputy Legal Advisor until 2002.

Since that time, Mr. Doyle has been in private practice with offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama, representing clients throughout the nation who have been injured by dangerous pharmaceuticals, defective products, or the negligence of others.

Some of the practice areas include: asbestos (mesothelioma), chinese drywall, dangerous/defective pharmaceuticals, personal injury, fraud, toxic torts, mass torts, automobile accidents, trucking/18 wheeler accidents, motorcycle accidents, and wrongful death.

Mr. Doyle is married to the former Brandy Burt of Excel, Alabama and has two young daughters. They live in the Birmingham area and attend St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hoover, Alabama.
