Biographical Information

Jacob Matz has been practicing law in the Baltimore metropolitan area for more than 50 years. He has represented injured persons during his entire career, and is former president of the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association).

Mr. Matz was born and raised in Baltimore. He was a decorated soldier in the United States Army in Europe during World War II. He received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Maryland, as well as before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
