GUILTY VERDICT IN BABY DEATH TRIAL

EL PASO--- After a day and a half of deliberations, a jury has handed down a verdict in the case of a Fort Bliss soldier accused of murdering his baby god-daughter. After deliberating for two days, a jury found Nakia Dawkins, 33, guilty of injury to a child. That's a lesser charge than the one he was facing of capitol murder.
