SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures rose to close the level of their most recent record settlement Thursday as investors bought on the dips and weaker dollar provided additional support. Crude-oil futures also posted gains. Gold for June delivery added $12.30, or 0.9%, to $1,437.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
