Gerald B. O'Connor has been specializing in the area of personal injury litigation - with a specific and significant emphasis in the representation of plaintiffs in medical malpractice claims - since 1972. Mr. O'Connor has also gained a reputation as a skilled litigator in other areas of personal injury litigation, including products liability claims and airplane crash litigation.

Mr. O'Connor was a partner with the firm of Balk, Goldberger, Mandell, Seligsohn & O'Connor, in Newark, New Jersey, until 1986, when he opened offices in Chatham, New Jersey, under the name of O'Connor & Rhatican, P.C. The firm continued to practice plaintiffs' personal injury litigation with a continuing specialization in plaintiffs' medical negligence actions.
