FLAHERTY ACCEPTS NATIONAL REGULATOR SETBACK

Finance Minister Jim Flaherty says the government will not pursue its current plan to create a national securities regulator after the Supreme Court of Canada said Thursday that doing so would be "not valid" under the Constitution.
