FISH KILL SETTLEMENT

November 27, 2011

Officials with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries reached an agreement with Temple-Inland late Monday for a $760,245.86 settlement for its portion of the civil restitution of the August fish kill that caused the deaths of an estimated 590,000 fish and freshwater mussels in the Pearl River.
