SAN DIEGO — A former lawyer has been sentenced to five months in federal prison for running a fraud scheme that paid women to have babies for sale. Hilary Neiman, 32, was sentenced Thursday by a judge who condemned her for targeting couples looking to have children and dishonoring the legal profession.
