Eric Tsai

Biographical Information

Eric Tsai is an associate in the firm’s litigation department representing financial institutions and related entities in commercial and civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tsai practiced tax controversy and bankruptcy, including working for a standing Chapter 13 Trustee.

Mr. Tsai received his Bachelor degree in History with a minor in Humanities & Law from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to law school, Mr. Tsai worked as a mortgage banker for national direct lenders. He earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he was recognized on the Dean’s list and received the Academic Achievement Award in Accounting. During law school, he interned for a debtor bankruptcy firm as well as the United States Trustee’s Office in San Diego. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Tsai attended the University of San Diego School of Law where he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation and received a graduate law merit scholarship.

Mr. Tsai is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States District Courts in California and the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association.
