§ Started own firm known as "Washington International" representing high tech – beltway companies Telic and American Management Corporation in their respective international marketplaces making introductions for joint ventures in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

§ Full time member of the 1989 American Bicentennial Presidential Inaugural Committee, Congressional Relations Committee.

§ Associate at corporate law firm, Coates & Davenport, which then specialized in mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and corporate management.
