§ Owner of civil litigation firm which included practice areas of business, employment law, bankruptcy, real estate and other civil litigation. Started with no client base and had earnings of over $250,000 within 3 years. Managed 2 associates, 2 paralegals, and support staff. Featured as one of five significant lawyers in the wealthiest county in Indiana in a local news article. Served as Judge Pro Tem for Marion County Superior Courts.

§ Professor of International Business Law, Indiana University School of Business.

Ø 1986 – 1991 in Washington, D.C.:

§ As a Lobbyist, served as a Registered Foreign Agent for the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Registration #3594 6/4/1984 - 9/25/1987 and #3600 6/14/1984 – 4/30/1987.) Lobbied U.S. Congress on behalf of the Kingdom for military purchases from Boeing. Represented international and domestic entities and countries as a U.S. Congressional lobbyist, such as Derecktor Shipyards. Drafted multi-volume responses to Request for Proposal for Panalpina, a Swiss freight forwarder, in its bid on U.S. Agency for International Development, which secured freight forwarding contracts. Organized major conference for the Portuguese Luso-American Foundation.

§ Started own firm known as "Washington International" representing high tech – beltway companies Telic and American Management Corporation in their respective international marketplaces making introductions for joint ventures in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

§ Full time member of the 1989 American Bicentennial Presidential Inaugural Committee, Congressional Relations Committee.

§ Associate at corporate law firm, Coates & Davenport, which then specialized in mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and corporate management. Prepared agency, employment, escrow, joint venture, licensing, and other assorted corporate contracts. Introduced companies to venture capital funding and securities placement. Provided corporate counsel to FirstPage USA Inc. from its inception through $25 million in secured financing; it was later acquired in 1993 by Metrocall with earnings in 1999 of $610.9 Million. Also represented Atlas Van Lines in its ESOP to return to agent ownership; revenues were over $242 Million at that time.
