David J Richards

Biographical Information

David Richards earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting with high honors from Miami University in Ohio. He was awarded his law degree cum laude from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Mr. Richards is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Lake County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts since 1971. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, since 1972; the U.S. Court of Appeals Sixth Circuit in 1974; and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1975.

Mr. Richards has been employed by the firm since 1969 and has been a principal of the firm since 1975. His practice emphasizes real estate law, including all aspects of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate development, financing, and leasing; commercial; general business; corporate; banking; construction law; commercial litigation; general business; corporate banking; construction law; and mergers and acquisitions.
