Darryl J Foster

Biographical Information

Darryl J. Foster was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University and received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1975, where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review and Phi Delta Phi. Mr. Foster served as law clerk to Louisiana Supreme Court Justice John A. Dixon, Jr. from 1975 to 1976.

Mr. Foster's areas of practice are toxic torts, class actions & complex litigation, casualty litigation, products liability, and insurance coverage issues.

Presently, Mr. Foster is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association (Executive Committee and Past Chairman of the Section on Insurance, Compensation, Negligence, and Admiralty; and a member of the House of Delegates since 1995), the American Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel (Past Chairman).

Mr. Foster is admitted to the Louisiana Bar and to the bars of the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
